Rise early as you visit Taj Mahal, one of the 7 Wonders of the World. Considered the pinnacle of Mughal architecture in India, the complex took over 22 years to complete with a workforce of 20,000 laborers. Move on to the Unesco World Heritage Site of Agra Fort, it served as the former residence of the Mughal emperors till 1638. Not far away is the Tomb of Itimad ud Daulah, a Mughal mausoleum. Often described as a Jewel Box or Baby Taj, the tomb is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal. Follow your guide on a walking tour featuring the lives of the locals.

Bid farewell to Agra as you drive to the Jaipur, capital city of Rajasthan or affectionately known as The Pink City. Have time at Chokhi Dhani. Experience the raving excitement and adventure of riding on camels, elephants, bullock carts, etc at your own expense. Have a round of the whole village in style, savoring the sights and sound sin this ethnic Rajasthani village.

First stop of the day is Amber Fort. This former capital of the royals is set to the backdrop of wooded hills. As you descend from Amber Fort, make a stop at the ancient stepwell of Panna Meena Ka Kund. This stepwell complex was built in the 16th century for collecting rainwater during monsoons, baths, washing clothes and other domestic use. The low-rise symmetrical Water Palace or Jai Mahal was once a shooting lodge for the Maharajas. Next is a photo stop at Hawa Mahal. With a multi layered palace and a profusion of windows and stone screens built in 1799, it is the signature icon of Jaipur. Located on an elevated ground at the base of Moto Dungari Hill is the Birla Mandir Temple. End the day with a photo stop at the Albert Hall Museum. The name derived from the Victoria and Albert Museum of London due to the similarity of architecture.

Stand in awe at the iconic archway of India Gate which resembles the famous Arc de Triomphe in Paris which commemorates the 70,000 Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives during World War I.

A poignant memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, Gandhi Smriti is where he was shot dead on the grounds on January 30, 1948. The house is where he spent his last 144 days.
