Assemble at Changi Airport for flight to Paro, Bhutan
Be greeted by a Khadar Welcome
Leisure drive to Thimphu and visit the Clock Tower before checking into hotel

  • Sangayang Bhutan Broadcasting Service - This is where the radio and television network of the country with a telecommunication tower built on the hilltop is run, offering the view of entire Thimphu Valley
  • Takin Enclosure - A wildlife reserve area for Takin, the national animal of Bhutan
  • National Memorial Chorten - Another unique structure as the Stupa is predominantly white with spires of gold and bells
  • Buddha Dordenma Statue - The largest sitting statue Buddha in Bhutan located on Kunzangphodrang mountain
  • Lunch @ Simply Bhutan - A place to learn about the various aspect of traditional life in Bhutan and there is hands- on activity such as the National Game – Archery
  • National Institute of Zorig Chusum - The school of Bhutanese Arts & Crafts, with display of the country’s unique artistic tradition
  • Thimphu Vegetable Market - Take a short walk through the market where you will find local produce such as Yak Cheese
  • Tashichho Dzong - An impressive structure that houses the Bhutanese government

  • Dochula Pass - Take a scenic drive from Thimphu to Punakha via the Dochula Pass which is a beautiful mountain pass located between Thimphu and Punakha
  • Druk Wangyal Chortens - Visit a historical landmark consisting of 108 memorial chortens
  • Chimi Lhakhang - Arrival at Punakha and go on a leisure stroll through the beautiful rice and mustard fields to the monastery This is one of the oldest monasteries and is a famous temple where it had drawn many local and overseas couples seeking blessing to conceive
  • Proceed for lunch at a restaurant near to the rice field. Along the way, get to see many interesting shops. With the beautiful rice field as a backdrop, enjoy the lunch while overlooking the rice field
  • Punakha Dzong - Built in 1637 by the founder of Bhutanese State, Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel
  • Punakha Suspension Bridge - The longest suspension bridge in Bhutan, measuring 180m

  • Paro Valley - Go on a scenic drive from Thimphu to Paro and pass by Paro Valley and do look out for Jomolhari, also known as “The Bride of Kangchenjunga”, a mountain in the Himalayas straddling the border of China, Tibet and Bhutan
  • Kyichu Lhakhang - Located in the north of Paro and it is the oldest temple in Bhutan. This monastery is a fantastic place where you will find elderly pilgrims circumambulating around the temple as they spin the prayer wheels and experience Butter Lamp Offering (own expenses)
  • Local Farmhouse - Visit a local farmhouse and spend some time with the locals while enjoying a glass of ZumZin Peach Wine
  • Ta Dzong - Do a short hike up to the oldest watch fortress in Bhutan and perched above Paro Dzong to protect it from the assaults
  • Paro Dzong - The administrative seat of the district of Paro
  • Paro Town - A small and beautiful town with shophouses carved in Bhutanese carvings

  • Chelela Pass - Enjoy a scenic drive from Paro to Chelela Pass at 3,988m high. The highest motor able pass and although it is an off the beaten track you will be rewarded by the astounding scenery
  • Proceed for lunch and enjoy the authentic Hoentay, HAA Val- ley Dumpling
  • Lhakhang Karpo & Lhakhang Nagpo - Visit the two most important temples in the Kingdom. These are two of the 108 monasteries built by SongtsenGampo, a Tibetan king in the 7th century

  • Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) Lhakhang - Let’s begin the highlight of our trip. A trek up to Tiger’s Nest. A sacred Buddhist site located in the cliffside of the upper Paro Valley and in 1692, a monastery complex was built around Taktsang Senge Samdup cave
