SINGAPORE - TRANSIT CITY - URUMQI

Upon your arrival at the Urumqi International Airport, your friendly driverguide will greet you and start the tour.

  • Urumqi Grand Bazaar - Located in Urumqi's Tianshan District, this is China's largest bazaar and a hub of Uyghur culture. The iconic Silk Road Sightseeing Tower features exhibits on Silk Road history, while the bazaar offers a wide variety of Xinjiang foods and handicrafts. It's a hub for Islamic culture, architecture, and ethnic commerce, showcasing the best of Xinjiang

URUMQI (5HRS) - ALTAY

General Mountain in Altay is famous not only for its unique location and majestic terrain but also as the only alpine ski resort in China located within a city. With convenient access and abundant natural snowfall, it's a top destination combining stunning scenery and skiing.

Attractions Introduction:
The General Mountain Ski Resort in Altay is close to the city and features natural snow with excellent accessibility. It offers 17 advanced trails, 41 intermediate and beginner trails, 4 four person chairlifts, 4 two-person chairlifts, 5 drag lifts, and 8 magic carpets. With thick snow, wide terrain, and favorable natural conditions, it's one of Xinjiang's best ski resorts, perfect for skiing enthusiasts of all levels and ages. The area has good air quality, ample sunlight, suitable temperatures, and no wind, making it an ideal vacation spot with a long snow season.

  • Hemu Village - Nestled beside the stunning Kanas Lake in Xinjiang is the charming village of Hemu, known as "China's Most Beautiful Village." Its wooden cabins, quaint bridges, flowing streams, and wisps of smoke create a picturesque, ancient village scene, full of mystery just like Kanas Lake.
  • Hemu Bridge - The Hemu Bridge is the iconic symbol of Hemu Village. This ancient and sturdy wooden bridge has witnessed the passage of time alongside the Kanas Glacier. Hemu Bridge,shaped by over a century of water flow, is ideal for photographing the Hemu River. From the bridge,enjoy views of Hemu Village and birch forests. The cold river and village's pure beauty complementEach other. Lush greenery thrives by the bridge, nourished by river mist. This spot is also the mainroute to the observation platform, Meili Feng, and Kanas hiking trails.
  • Haden Platform - The Hemu Harden Platform is a scenic viewing area located in the charming village of Hemu near Kanas Lake in Xinjiang. This platform offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes, including the picturesque wooden cabins, lush greenery, and the serene Kanas Lake. Hemu Ji Ke Pu Lin Ski Resort, located just 7 kilometers from Hemu Village, offers moderate altitude, heavy snowfall, a long snow season, and excellent snow quality. Known as 'China's Powder Snow Producer,' it spans approximately 21.5 square kilometers with ski slopes covering5.35 square kilometers. Planned developments include 8 high-speed cable cars with a capacity of15,000 people per hour. The resort reaches up to 2800 meters in altitude, with the main slopefeaturing a maximum drop of 1415 meters over a length of 5245 meters. Slopes vary in gradient,with the longest reaching 11,100 meters in the East and 10,166 meters in the West.

Option B: Horseback riding to Meili Fen
In the remote mountains about a dozen kilometers from Hemu Village lies a village secluded from the world, as beautiful as paradise, accessible only by foot or horseback. This village is called Meili Feng, located in Hemu Township, Burqin County, Altay Prefecture, Xinjiang. It's home to fewer than 10 households, primarily of Kazakh ethnicity. Meili Feng is actually the name of a mountain peak, with Little Meili Feng a few kilometers from Hemu and Big Meili Feng around ten kilometers away. At its base lies an unnamed village known as Meili Feng Village. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, it overlooks expansive grasslands and is surrounded by dense birch forests. In autumn, the leaves turn golden, while in winter, it becomes a vast expanse of white. Smoke curls up from chimneys at sunrise and sunset, creating a scene straight out of a fairy tale

HEMU(3HRS) - KANAS(1HRS) - BAIHABA

In Mongolian, Kanas means 'beautiful and rich, mysterious and unpredictable,' making it a fitting name for this land. Kanas is renowned for its stunning scenery composed of Kanas Lake, surrounding snow-capped mountains, grasslands, and birch forests.

  • Kazanqi - The Kazanqi Folk Tourism Area in Yining City, Xinjiang, is the only large-scale ecotourism site in northern Xinjiang that primarily reflects Uygur culture. It serves as a window into the image of Yili City and vividly portrays the ethnic customs. It encompasses the rich Uygur culture of southern Xinjiang while showcasing the unique customs of the Uygur people in northern Xinjiang
  • Pearl Beach - In the backlight, the lake surface sparkles like scattered pearls in the sunlight, earning it the name 'Pearl Beach' or 'Shenxian Bay.' With frequent mist and a picturesque scenery of mountains, lake, and trees, Shenxian Bay resembles a fairyland.
  • Moon Bay - is the most famous attraction in Kanas. Kanas Lake curves gracefully here, resembling a crescent moon nestled in the lush canyon. Countless visitors are enchanted by its beauty as Moon Bay changes with the water levels of Kanas Lake, like a pearl set in the Kanas River.
  • Kanas Lake - is the heart of the Kanas scenic area and one of its most enchanting spots. The lake's waters are clear and emerald green, with a small island at its center, believed to be a sacred place of love. Located in Burqin County, Altay Prefecture, Xinjiang, at an altitude of approximately 2000 meters, Kanas Lake is inhabited by the Ewenki ethnic group, as well as Tibetan, Kazakh, and other ethnic minorities. Beyond its captivating natural beauty, the area is rich in diverse ethnic cultures.

BAIHABA(5HRS) - ALTAY
  • Baihaba Village - Lis situated along the border river between China and Kazakhstan, in Tiereketi Township, Habahe County, at the northwest corner of China's map. It is the most concentrated village of the Tuva people in Xinjiang's Altay region, known for their unique ethnic attire, religious practices, and customs, which are increasingly admired by visitors. Due to its remote location, Baihaba Village has preserved its ancient and pure folk traditions and customs away from urban hustle and bustle.
  • The China-Kazakhstan Border Grand Canyon - also known as the Tiereketi Grand Canyon, lies along the boundary between China and Kazakhstan. This canyon divides the two countries witha valley as the boundary and a river as the dividing line. Half magnificent and half desolate, it is Xinjiang's most dazzling canyon. Located at the junction of northwest China and Kazakhstan, the canyon's lower part is bordered by the Akhaba River, the boundary river between China and Kazakhstan.
