European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) for Singaporean

The European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) will become mandatory for Singaporean citizens traveling to Europe in 2025:

1. When it starts

  • The ETIAS will be operational in mid-2025.

2. What it is

  • The ETIAS is a travel authorization system that's similar to the US ESTA. It's not a visa, but it's required for visa-free travelers.

3. Who it applies to

  • The ETIAS applies to citizens of Singapore and 58 other countries and territories, including Australia, Japan, South Korea, the US, and Canada.

4. What it's for

  • The ETIAS aims to improve border security while still making travel convenient for eligible citizens.

5. How to apply

  • You must apply for the ETIAS before boarding a plane, train, or bus to Europe. You'll be notified within 96 hours if your application is approved, refused, or needs manual processing.

6. What it costs

  • The ETIAS costs €7 (S$10) for travelers aged 18 to 70, and is free for those outside this age range.

7. What you need to apply with

  • You must be a full Singaporean citizen to apply for an ETIAS. Travelers with a different status may need to apply for a full Schengen visitor visa.

  • Giethoorn village most beautiful and fairytale village in the Netherlands, it has no roads in the center. The guided cruise boat tour takes about 1 hour and follows the tourist village route, through the narrow canals and under the bridges.
  • Zaanse Schans, a windmill village with traditional timber houses and crafts. visit the Cheese & Clog workshop.

  • Experience the Amsterdam Canal cruise. Visit the Gassan Diamond experience tour to see diamond cutters at work and be awed by these dazzling, multifaceted stones. 
  • Brussels - Photo stop at Atomium.

  • Enjoy Seine River sightseeing cruise.
  • Fragonard Perfume shop, is a French perfumery house from Grasse, in the south of France. Fragonard makes their products in their own factory since 1926. 
  • Galeries Lafayette/Printemps - Well known departmental store in Paris for shopping.

  • Continue our journey to Strasbourg, largest city of the of Eastern France, in the historic region of Alsace. Official seat of the European Parliament.

  • The Grande île-Surrounded by the Ill River, Grande Ile, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the historic centre of Strasbourg. In addition to the iconic Strasbourg Cathedral and the must-see Kammerzell House (most famous building) , there’s a whole host of sights to be enjoyed here.
  • Heidelberg, a city in the German state of Baden-Württemberg, situated on the river Neckar in south-west Germany. Walk around the Heidelberg and view the castle from old town.
